492 The effect of Mohs micrographic surgery on activities of daily living

While previous research studies have examined patient-reported comfort, experience, and aesthetic satisfaction after Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS), the effect of MMS on a patient’s activities daily living (ADLs) has not been elucidated. Post-operative guidance for patients may be improved by better understanding relationship between ADLs recovery. Our study aims to measure effects ADLs, specifically in aged 65 over. We hypothesized that would increased difficulty performing 24 hours postoperatively but they return baseline ADL performance 7 days postoperatively. use Functional Recovery Index (FRI), validated outpatient scores preoperatively, A total 22 undergoing were enrolled. The FRI is graded out 140 points, with higher score indicating performance. paired student t-test was used compare mean preoperative scores.
